Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are excited to invite a Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. Together, we are working on an exciting redevelopment project at a prestigious Royal Navy site in Plymouth.

Important Security Information

Due to the high-security nature of the military naval base, candidates must undergo additional security checks. A BPSS level of security clearance is required, which can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been UK residents for the last 5 years will be considered.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead the Infrastructure Project Quality Engineering Team, focusing on all sub-programmes and main works packages within the Infrastructure development programme. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a team of Quality Assurance Engineers across the KBJV 10 dock delivery programme, ensuring 24-hour project engineering cover.
• Supporting the development of the project engineering team to ensure the right skills and resources are in place.
• Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating technical data with Project Teams, Pre-construction teams, and Engineering to minimize project impact.
• Collaborating with the Delivery Management Team (DMT) to assess project impact before and during construction.
• Driving a health and safety culture on-site at all times.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You hold a Civil Engineering qualification or have relevant experience and are a member of a technical institution or working towards membership.
• You possess expert knowledge of FRC construction techniques, including soils, subbase, piling, sub-structure, and superstructure.
• You have experience working on major projects, including nuclear environments, and hold a CSCS Card .
