This role involves overseeing the implementation of a new 25kV isolation across the Eastern Region, supporting delivery agents during the transition, and assessing residual electrical hazards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nEnsure compliance of [Route] with SAI25 in line with the project implementation plan.\nCollaborate with Delivery Unit (DU) on the development of a residual electrical risk hazard register in collaboration with the SPE.\nManage and develop solutions for signalling risk assessments required as part of SAI25.\nLead briefings at the DU level in collaboration with the SPE.\nLead briefings at ECR/Control in collaboration with the SPE.\nPromote Level 1 Assurance activities within DU regimes.\nWork with the SPE on Special Review Procedures (SRP) activities.\nAssist in collating Electrical Isolation Design Framework (EIDF) information for post-implementation analysis.\nCollaborate with the SPE/Project Manager (PM) on implementing a successful ERAS mentoring schedule.\nWork with the SPE on HAZID Workshop requirements and DRACAS item closeouts.\nCollaborate with the SPE on updating isolation documentation and transferring active TVs/Derogations for migration to SAI25.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience in Electrical Engineering, particularly within the rail sector.\nProven track record in managing large-scale engineering projects.\nKnowledge of SAI25 standards and their implementation.\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills.\nAbility to lead briefings and ensure compliance with safety and project standards.\nStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.\n\nJob Details:\n\nContract position\nInside IR35\nIf you are an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a background in rail and electrical engineering, we encourage you to apply now.
