Senior Project Support Engineer\n\nHounslow: Full time on- site\n\nRate: INSIDE IR(phone number removed) PD\n\nContract \n\nDuration: Initial 6 months +\n\nLooking for an experienced SPSE, the desired candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering the implementation of various structured cabling IT & Infrastructure projects across the site.\n\nPrior experience as a senior project engineer, with detailed knowledge of overseeing the installing of structured cabling, physical infrastructure, and active network equipment is essential for this role. SMSTS/CSCS/ECS are required for the role (eligibility can be considered)\n\nSummary\n\nManage H&S of site works\nProduce and maintain Project Plans\nProduce RAMS for installation activities\nProduce job packs and provide detailed information for internal engineers to complete surveys/installation works\nEnsure responsibilities under CDM regulations as Principal Designer, Principal Contractor, or Contractor are discharged effectively, with a focus on site management and activity reporting. Ensure all works are carried out in line with the directions/stipulations laid out within the Construction Phase Plan (CPP)\nUndertake operational inspections to ensure safe working practices are being adhered to and maintained\nLiaise with all required internal and external stakeholders to effectively obtain: Permit approvals, Project Requirements, Approvals/permissions for works to proceed\nContractor management of 3rd party suppliers\nCollaborate with the Design team\nDesign assurance (checking the implementation adheres to the design)\nIdentify and highlight both H&S and implementation risks/issues to the Project Manager in a timely manner\nQuality assurance (ensuring installation works are installed to the correct standard)\nMaintain awareness of the critical operational environment in either Rail or Aviation\nContribute to process improvements \n\nQualifications\n\nClear knowledge and experience of delivering IT infrastructure projects within challenging operational environments and with multiple stakeholders\n\nManagement of cabling and physical infrastructure installation in challenging environments.
