The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Chartered Senior Engineer, seeking technically challenging work on cutting-edge projects in the science and healthcare sectors in the UK and Worldwide; to join our established Building Engineering Team in London. We will consider candidates that are looking for a part time opportunity.
The role will see you:
Developing engineering solutions from concept through to implementation stage.
Supporting the development of Engineers, maintaining an overview of public health engineering design quality, planning and managing resourcing.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.
Supporting bid preparation and business development activities
Liaising with clients and managing client meetings as required.
Being innovative in changing the design of buildings through a deep knowledge of Public Health Building Services Engineering.
Having an opportunity to become a package leader on multi-professional projects with high Public Health Engineering content, supervising and coordinating the work of others and coordinating work with engineers of other disciplines.

Is this role right for you?
We’re looking for a candidate who:
Has achieved a professional engineering qualification, preferably Chartered Engineer status via an appropriate professional institution. Membership of SoPHE is desirable.
Has an in-depth understanding and practical experience of science and healthcare specific public health systems, including but not limited to water treatment technologies, water quality management, and medical/laboratory gas systems.
Has experience of leading your discipline in large-scale and complex science and healthcare projects
Has a good understanding of BIM and enthusiasm for driving digital transformation in the way we work and what we deliver.
Possesses excellent communication and report writing skills.
