We’re proud to be working in partnership with a leading global design and engineering consultancy to recruit a Chartered Senior Public Health Engineer for their thriving London Buildings team. About the Role

Our client’s London team has seen significant growth, driven by strong relationships with key clients across sectors such as media, commercial, science, industry, and mission-critical infrastructure.

This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects in the science and healthcare sectors, both in the UK and internationally. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team, with flexibility for those seeking part-time arrangements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of engineering solutions from concept through to implementation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Ensure design quality and manage resources effectively.
  • Engage with clients, lead meetings, and support business development activities.
  • Drive innovation in public health engineering, including water treatment, medical/lab gas systems, and water quality management.
  • Champion digital transformation, including BIM integration.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary project packages and collaborate across teams.


Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent ((or is very close to doing so)) via a recognised professional institution.
  • Has proven experience of public health systems.
  • Has led large-scale, complex projects and enjoys working in a collaborative setting.
  • Is confident in client-facing roles and has strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Is passionate about digital tools and BIM, and eager to drive innovation.
  • Membership of SoPHE is desirable.
