OverviewSenior QA EngineerOur client is a forward thinking technology-first Belfast success story. They are looking for a Senior QA to help shape strategy, mentor engineers, and build automated testing frameworks for back-end services, APIs, and data pipelines. This role blends hands-on testing with strategy, working in an Agile environment alongside engineers and data specialists.What you'll be doingLeading QA strategy across back-end services, APIs and data pipelinesMentoring QA engineers and collaborating with software/data engineersDesigning, developing and maintaining automated testing frameworksDriving functional, integration, regression, and data testing approachesPerforming hands-on unit, integration and end-to-end automated testingIdentifying and tracking defects, ensuring timely resolution and retestingEnsuring adherence to testing standards while driving continuous improvementParticipating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to an Agile mindsetDocumenting test cases, results, and defect reports in detailWhat we're looking forEssential5+ years in QA, including 2+ in a senior or lead roleStrong automation testing background with proven framework developmentProficiency in Python for automation, with C# or TypeScript desirableExperience setting test strategies for software and data solutionsCloud-based testing experience (AWS)Strong Agile mindset and collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skillsExperience building and maintaining scalable automated test solutionsDesirableProficiency with test automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, NUnit)Experience in data testing and collaboration with data engineersFamiliarity with Git, Jira and backlog management toolsAbility to triage production issues, debug and collaborate with usersApply here or reach out to Aaron Somers at Ocho for more information via LinkedIn. #J-18808-Ljbffr
