We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our team at IDT Corporation. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will contribute to the Retail Billing team to help ensure the quality of one of the most important retailer services.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios for frontend and services using different testing tools
2. Evaluate expected functionality against specifications / requirements
3. Identify system bottlenecks with troubleshooting, problem solving & reasoning skills
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration touch points and execute integration/end-to-end tests
5. Work closely with developers to test features as part of a scrum team
6. Develop test strategies and plans proactively for features being implemented
7. Contribute to automated tests in existing Java/C# based frameworks
8. Support production releases and perform post-release testing

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual testing (web UI and API) with automation knowledge
3. Strong knowledge of testing methods such as regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on QA/UAT environments
4. Experience with database technologies like Oracle, MongoDB (ability to query databases to validate fields)
5. Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger
6. Strong troubleshooting skills, including checking application logs using monitoring tools and basic Linux commands
7. Experience with UI or API automated testing using Java / C# BDD frameworks or similar
8. Exposure to CI/CD, AWS, Docker containerization is a plus
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 level or higher)
