As a Senior Quality Engineer in our backend-focused Location Services team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and resilience of the core services that power our platform. NET APIs that are central to our order flow and location infrastructure.
In this role, you will have real autonomy to shape our testing strategy, embed quality-first thinking, and influence architectural decisions across the domain. You will be a trusted voice in the team, helping to prevent issues before they arise and making sure that quality is a shared mindset throughout our engineering culture.
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our London office & 2 days working from home
Define and lead the quality engineering strategy for our backend services, fostering a culture where quality is a shared responsibility.
Mentor team members and provide clear, data-driven insights to guide technical direction and elevate engineering practices.
Proactively identify and advocate for technical improvements, including architectural enhancements and modern testing approaches.
Continuously evolve our testing processes and automation frameworks to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability within an agile environment.
Demonstrated experience as a Senior Quality Engineer in a .NET backend environment.
Strong programming skills with a track record of building robust test automation frameworks, preferably in C#.
Deep expertise in API quality engineering, including functional, performance, and security testing of RESTful services.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration, post-deployment monitoring, and risk-based exploratory testing to uncover issues beyond automation.
Proven ability to influence engineering teams, drive quality improvements, and contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
Solid understanding of modern testing principles and patterns, such as the testing pyramid and shift-left methodologies.
