This is a senior role with real influence, combining hands-on problem-solving with the opportunity to shape quality strategy in a facility that has recently invested in new equipment, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.As the technical authority within the Quality function, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest standards while supporting the ongoing development of the Quality Management System. You’ll be responsible for driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects that directly reduce the cost of poor quality. The role is customer-facing, so you’ll need the confidence and credibility to represent the company in technical discussions with high-profile customers across regulated industries.Key responsibilities:Leading detailed investigations into product performance issues and implementing robust corrective actionsDriving continuous improvement across manufacturing and supplier processes to enhance reliability and efficiencyManaging internal and supplier audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100Working closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve complex quality issuesActing as a trusted technical representative in customer reviews and auditsProven experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment essentialDegree in a technical or scientific discipline (Engineering preferred)ISO 9001 Auditor certification (AS9100 experience preferred)Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to influence outcomesExcellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levelsThis is a great opportunity to make a visible impact on product quality in a business that values technical expertise and continuous improvement.
