Description
As the Senior Quality Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
Develop and implement quality assurance processes to meet industry standards and regulations.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for product or process issues.
Drive continuous improvement activities to to reduce customer complaints, drive product quality, and develop production process.
Develop and maintain the companies ISO accreditation's, managing their ISO9001 accreditation's.
Liaising will all levels of the production process and with external customers to ensure development actions are in place and maintained.
Use methodologies such as 8D, 5Y, Ishikawa, Kaizen, Root cause analysis to solve complex problems and develop action plans.
Ensure compliance with customer and internal quality requirements.
Conduct audits and inspections to maintain quality standards.
Be an ongoing presence on the shop floor working closely with production to run investigations.
Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders and management.
Support new product development by defining quality standards and specifications.
Manage supplier quality performance and work on resolving quality-related concerns.Profile
A successful Senior Quality Engineer should have:
Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
Lead Auditor accreditation for ISO 9001
HNC/HND in a relevant field.
Green Belt Six Sigma or equivalent.
Experience in quality assurance within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
Proven track record of driving process improvements and ensuring compliance.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.Job Offer
Competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
Bonus scheme ranging from 5% to 21% of your annual salary.
