About the Role Were supporting a leading manufacturer of thermal batteries used in defence systems and aircraft. Theyre looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team at their Coatbridge HQ, ensuring products meet the highest standards for mission-critical applications.
What Youll Be Doing Lead quality activities across design, production, and delivery. Support customer programmes with a strong focus on compliance and reliability. Conduct root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement projects. Manage audits, inspections, and certification requirements (AS9100 / ISO9001). Act as the quality lead with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Mentor junior engineers and technicians within the quality function.
What Were Looking For Experience as a Quality Engineer (preferably aerospace, defence, or advanced manufacturing). Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards. Skilled in quality tools FMEA, 8D, FAIR, PPAP, problem-solving. Great communicator who can work with cross-functional teams. Eligible for UK Security Clearance.
