The Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to lead and support quality assurance activities across fabrication, welding, and non-destructive testing operations. This hands-on, proactive role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about quality, compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as a technical authority on all quality matters within fabrication, welding, and assembly operations.

* Ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

* Lead internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformances.

* Manage FAIRs, PPAP, APQP, and other aerospace customer deliverables.

* Oversee supplier quality performance, including audits, assessments, and corrective actions.

* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (8D, 5-Whys, Ishikawa).

* Support new product introductions (NPI) to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

* Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.

* Mentor and support Quality Inspectors and Technicians.

* Maintain accurate quality documentation and generate reports on key metrics.

Essential Skills & Experience:

* 5+ years’ experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace or welding fields.

* Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

* Experience with FAIRs, PPAP, RCCA, and auditing (internal or lead auditor preferred).

* Strong understanding of fabrication and welding processes.

* Skilled in problem-solving and process improvement

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Proficiency with MS Office and quality management systems
