Business: We are working with a Tier 1 market leading Fit Out and Refurb contractor who have been in business for 50+ years, turning over circa £500m. They are renowned for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. Projects range from £5m-£200m+.

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will need to be self-sufficient with experience in leading projects from bid to preconstruction. As well as experience within the CAT A & CAT B Commercial office fit out sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Take a strong lead in ownership of cost controls on your projects, managing and supporting the site teams as required Manage the procurement and sub-contractors Where applicable take a lead in tackling key, commercial, progress or contractual issues with either the Client or Suppliers Reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts Lead and support the Commercial Teams in securing maximum sustainable value from contracts, and in settling subcontracts at a fair level reflective of the subcontractor's price and performance.
