Overview
Based at our R&D facility at Rotherwas, due to continuing growth of the company, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior RF Engineer to join the design team working on a range of state-of-the-art search and rescue products for the aviation industry.
Responsibilities
- Design of RF Transceiver Circuits and Modules
- RF / Microwave simulation tools
- Design for Test / Design for Manufacture
- EMC requirements and testing
- Use of laboratory equipment
- PCB design software (Altium Designer)
- Production of RF Hardware specification documentation
- Design of RF hardware Transmitter / Receiver circuits and modules
- System test and debugging
- Validation reporting
- Support for existing products and new product development

Requirements
- Experience in RF/ Microwave design and system integration
- Experience with RF Transmitter/Receiver circuit design
- Experience with EMC testing and compliance
- Laboratory equipment operation and measurement
- PCB design using Altium Designer
- Ability to produce clear RF hardware specification documentation

Full time position. Hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with 30 minutes lunch. No weekend, evening, or bank holiday working. Salary commensurate with experience.
