Senior R&D Tax Credits Technical Consultant

We’re representing an exciting opportunity for an experienced R&D Tax Credits professional with a strong background in software engineering and innovation.

The Role:

You’ll work closely with businesses across cutting-edge sectors (software, biotech, engineering, data science, financial services and more) to identify eligible R&D activities and support them through the end-to-end tax credits process. From engaging with CTOs and engineers to crafting persuasive technical reports, you’ll play a key role in helping companies maximise their innovation funding.

• Solid experience in R&D Tax Credits with strong knowledge of UK incentive schemes
• Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field – or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in modern programming, software architecture, cloud platforms, databases, AI/ML frameworks, DevOps, and cybersecurity
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Passion for science, tech, and innovation
• Ideally London-based (but flexible for strong candidates elsewhere)
