Hybrid (3 days onsite) An established engineering company is looking for a Senior RF Design Engineer to join their specialist electronics team. The role involves designing, testing, and supporting advanced RF systems and components used in high-performance communication and signal processing applications. Responsibilities Design RF systems and components including amplifiers, filters, antennas, and converters Carry out RF simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototyping Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/system issues Support manufacturing and participate in formal design reviews Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams Requirements 5+ years experience in RF design (7+ preferred) Strong knowledge of RF simulation tools, PCB design software, and RF components Experience with high-power RF amplifiers, LNAs, and antennas Good understanding of analogue/digital electronics and EMC principles Eligible for UK Security Clearance Desirable Experience in regulated or high-reliability industries Familiarity with Altium Designer, AWR Microwave Office, or Ansys HFSS
