Stäubli guarantees high quality, reliability, and performance - our strong basis for the trusted partnership with our customers worldwide.Stäubli (UK) Ltd are part of the Stäubli Group and our Fluid Connector division manufactures precision quick release fluid couplings such as Mono and Multi connectors, Robot Tool Changes and Quick Mould Change systems which are used in a variety of industries including Plastics Injection Moulding, Automotive, Aerospace, Chemical and Pharmaceutical, Electronic Cooling, alternative fuels, motorsport and many more.ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Fluid Connectors Division on a permanent basis being part of the General Industry team responsible and accountable for the sales and growth of the Automotive and Plastics markets, this role will cover Northern UK (area above WR/OX/MK postcodes) inclusive of Scotland as required.Ensure effective budget planning and execution to meet financial targets.Achieve agreed revenue growth targets through solution sellingDevelop ambitious and achievable business plans with support of the Local Heads of BusinessContinue to grow revenues in both new and existing businesses through business development activitiesEngage and support customers (50% Automotive & 50% Plastics)Target 30 visits (face-to-face or video conference) per monthNurture and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfactionIdentify and develop new business opportunities in line with strategic goalsCollaborate with wider team to deliver tailored solutions and drive engagementPrepare and present proposals, technical specifications, and negotiate pricingProvide accurate sales reports, forward opportunities and sales forecastingEffective use of CRM to develop and maintain a sales pipelinePre-planning activity & recording of relevant activitiesAllocating and forward tasksAlign with our Company's vision, values and target behavioursQualificationsMinimum requirement of HNC in an Engineering discipline or relevant experienceMinimum of 3-5 years external technical solution sales/ account management experienceAccount Management and development of new customersStrong knowledge of the automotive and/or plastics sectorsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsA proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for building relationshipsComfortable working independently while contributing as part of a high-performing teamWilling and able to travel across the Northern UK AreaFull UK driving license requiredAdditional InformationThis role will also be eligible for a Company car, fuel card and company credit card alongside enhanced company benefits such as Employer pension contribution, private healthcare and annual leave.
