Client: My client is a market-leading, multi-faceted renewable energy developer with a project pipeline exceeding 10 GW across the UK & Europe. They have successfully developed and executed over 3GW of projects in the last 10 years.
Due to recent investment in their BESS department, they are now looking for a Senior SCADA Engineer to join their team and drive forward their success and support the business in achieving their short-term and long-term goals.
Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SCADA Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and commissioning of SCADA systems for our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SCADA architectures, protocols, and standards within the renewable energy or utility-scale battery storage domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and specification of SCADA systems for utility-scale battery storage projects. Develop functional and technical specifications for SCADA hardware, software, and communications infrastructure. Integrate SCADA with battery management systems (BMS), energy management systems (EMS), plant controllers, and grid interfaces.
