Senior Security Engineer

As a multi-skilled Senior Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. You will also support the Engineering Manager in operational decisions and lead projects to ensure timely delivery with exceptional quality. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead installation projects and supervise on-site teams
* Provide support to the Engineering Manager, including operational oversight and problem-solving
* Install, commission, and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
* Complete system handovers and customer demonstrations
* Maintain compliance with SSAIB, NSI, and industry standards
* Keep accurate job and service records using simPRO (training provided)
* Participate in an on-call rota for emergency response and support
* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in installation and maintenance of security systems
* Deep understanding of BS EN/PD standards for intruder alarms
* Knowledge of IP-based CCTV and networking
* Experience with access control systems (installation, diagnostics, maintenance)
* Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
Desirable:
* ECS/CSCS card
* Manufacturer training (Texecom, Galaxy, Hikvision, Dahu...
