Senior Site Engineer – £190m Station Upgrade – Midlands – Main Contractor – Civil RailHome » Rail » Senior Site Engineer – £190m Station Upgrade – Midlands – Main Contractor – Civil RailSalary: £35-£45k+pkgLocation: MidlandsRegion: BirminghamSenior Site Engineer– £190m Station Upgrade – Midlands – Civil RailA Major Main Contractor with over a £1.5bn UK Turnover is looking for a Senior Site Engineer to work on a Major Network Rail Station Upgrade Valued £190m, consisting of step free access, new lifts, new platforms and extensions of existing platforms, 2 new bridges, drainage, earthworks, RC Concrete works.Duties/responsibilities will include:Carry out setting out duties accurately and on timeEnsure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with the customer specificationOperate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environmental complianceSupport the overall achievement of Perfect DeliveryDeliver pre-start briefingsInstall survey controlEnsure procedure is observed in relation to trigger levels for alignment control and the appropriate actions are takenEnsure all work is in accordance with the method statementConduct quality control checks and build recordsMonitor and record all quantities of materials usedAssist Sub Agent/Section Engineer in ensuring all operations are carried out safelyStand in for Section Engineer when requiredMonitor compliance with method statements and safety dictates specific to theseRead and understand engineering drawingsCheck operator competence certification if new to taskDeliver method statement briefings and risk assessments and ensure all operatives have appropriate training for the taskEnsure the works are executed to the quality planControl the works dimensionallyRecord the works for the shift and keep diaries, technical and quality records as appropriateImplement permit to dig systemsEssential Criteria:3 years+ experience working for a contractor on a civil engineering or construction projectA Qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction e.g HNC, HND or a DegreeCivil RailExperienceMust have worked for a main or subcontractorin the UKApply For This JobTitleNameAddressPostcodeYour EmailAttach CV #J-18808-Ljbffr
