Senior Site Engineer – Drainage Specialist

Location: Norwich – A47 Tuddenham (Tier 1 Contractor) Start Date: Immediate Pay: Up to £350 per day (Ltd or CIS)

We’re looking for a Senior Site Engineer with strong experience in drainage to join the delivery team on the A47 Tuddenham Improvement Scheme, part of a National Highways development led by a top-tier principal contractor. The project includes new junctions, carriageway improvements, and significant deep drainage installations.

Role Overview:

Engineering lead on drainage packages (including attenuation tanks, deep manholes, and surface water systems)

*

Setting out, QA, and as-built documentation

*

Working with site teams to deliver works safely and on programme

*

Daily interaction with management, subcontractors, and client representatives

Requirements:

*

Extensive experience in civil engineering with a drainage focus

*

Competent in setting out (Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD)

*

SMSTS or SSSTS desirable

*

CSCS (White or Gold)

*

Ability to manage your own workload and assist junior engineers

Ideal for candidates with highways or large-scale civils experience, particularly with National Highways schemes.
