The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and well-organised Senior Site Engineer with strong leadership skills to join our West Midlands regional construction site engineering team.
We are currently delivering a landmark £10m education project in Hereford – a brand-new, sustainably designed primary school that will double pupil capacity, introduce a nursery and enhanced sports facilities, and provide state-of-the-art teaching spaces. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a project that will transform learning opportunities for the local community.
Future workload will be in the West Midlands region.
Role:
As Senior Site Engineer, you will be site-based with overall responsibility for controlling the engineering and technical aspects of the construction works. You will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining a robust quality control regime, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities

Ensuring all project works comply with the requirements of the contract, specifications, and drawings, and maintaining accurate records of compliance.

Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, representatives, and advisors.
*
Implementing company strategies and policies on Sustainability, Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training, and Development, acting as an ambassador of company values and culture.
*
Applying and maintaining the Business Management System.
*
Proactively identifying and resolving site issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
*
Supporting initiatives for continuous improvement across the project.
*
Managing and developing junior team members, including conducting appraisals and supporting professional growth.
*
Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role.
