Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Platform | Remote (EU Timezones Preferred)

I'm working with a rapidly scaling, high-performing blockchain infrastructure provider that's looking to hire a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Platform to join their Infrastructure team (currently 10 engineers). This is a key hire that will play a central role in building robust, secure, and scalable multi-cloud and bare-metal infrastructure to support their growing platform.

The company operates at the forefront of staking and DeFi infrastructure, collaborating with major institutional clients and handling billions in assets securely. This SRE will work closely with their Protocol, Smart Contract, and Software Engineering teams to streamline software delivery, improve reliability, and reinforce security across the stack.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure across multiple cloud providers and bare metal
• Building internal tools and platforms to improve development workflows
• Ensuring high uptime, inter-service reliability, and robust performance monitoring
• Strengthening infrastructure security and maintaining compliance (SOC 2)
• Promoting infrastructure best practices and supporting architectural decisions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate technical risk
• Tooling: GitHub Actions, Grafana, GitOps CI/CD pipelines

What They’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering, ideally within high-standard or regulated environments (FinTech is a plus)
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm for infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with Prometheus and observability tooling (e.g., PromQL, Grafana)
• Experience with secure infrastructure practices (e.g., Vault, KMS)
• Clear, confident technical decision-making and cross-team collaboration

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience building internal developer platforms
• Background in building highly available systems at scale
• Exposure to SOC2, ISO 27001, or similar environments
• Familiarity with data tools like BigQuery, Airbyte, or DBT
• Experience deploying user-facing and/or API-driven products
