Overview

We are seeking experienced individuals with talent, expertise, and ambition in software and data engineering. We can offer the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that will transform scientific research and healthcare delivery in the NHS.

Program and Scope

The successful candidates will work as part of the Thames Valley and Surrey (TVS) Secure Data Environment (SDE) Programme hosted by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH). They will design and implement solutions to support data acquisition, integration, and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions to support data acquisition, integration, and analysis.
  • Provide expert leadership and technical knowledge on the delivery of software and data services across digital areas, including systems, applications, data analysis, information reporting, information governance, and information interpretation.
  • Investigate highly complex data engineering issues.
  • Be responsible for strategic planning and delivery across specialized areas.
  • Manage design, development, and adaptation of highly complex software and data engineering solutions.

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country.
