Overview

The Senior Software Engineer (C# / .Net) will take full ownership for existing tools and deliver greenfield developments using desktop and web technologies. This includes working with users to understand needs, defining solutions, producing technical and UI designs, researching implementation technologies, and delivering and maintaining the solution.

The Tools Team at Cloud Imperium Games develops and supports tools to empower users and assist the developers of Star Citizen and Squadron 42. The team collaborates with Designers, Artists, Engineers, QA and Production to deliver tools and systems for automated testing, process support, data management, and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high standards are met in code quality and usability.
• Planning and overseeing work for the team in conjunction with the Lead and Producer.
• Providing realistic estimates for work involved in all tasks and supporting the Tools Team on all projects.
• Continuously improving user experience, capabilities and performance.
• Mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience in C#, WPF or Blazor, and SQL.
• A passion for delivering great tools with great usability.
• Ability to work in a cooperative team environment and experience dealing with large and/or legacy code bases.
• Ability to work in an agile, cross-functional environment.
