Overview

A Technology Consultancy seeks a Senior level Software Engineer with a strong academic record, proven C/C++ development skills and experience of working on complex real-world problems to provide solutions to challenging projects in areas such as cyber security and network security. You must be British, as UK Security Clearance is required. A 1st or 2.1 Bachelors/Masters Degree in a STEM subject from a leading University is required, as well as A levels in Mathematics and Physics; a PhD is highly beneficial. This is a fully office-based role. The Technical Consultancy encourages innovation and seeks bright minds who thrive on technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong C/C++ development experience on Linux systems.
• Develop novel signal, image or data applications in C/C++.
• Familiarity with source control systems and software configuration.
• Support customers, provide training, and mentor others where appropriate.
• Contribute to clear, efficient software designs and adapt to challenging projects in security domains.

Qualifications

• UK security clearance is required.
• A 1st or 2.1 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a STEM subject from a leading university is required.
• A level in Mathematics and Physics is required.
• PhD is highly beneficial.
