About the Role

As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will contribute to designing and developing web applications that support research publication management. You will work on both frontend and backend tasks, collaborating with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements

  • Draft clear technical documentation for features

  • Develop, test, and maintain application components using modern web technologies

  • Uphold code quality through reviews and inclusive standards

  • Collaborate with teammates in Agile workflows

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

  • Stay informed about evolving web technologies and best practices

  • Deliver features including publication management, user authentication, and data visualization

  • Maintain and optimize existing systems for security and performance

  • Requirements:

  • Experience with PHP and Laravel or similar frameworks

  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and UI development

  • Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, responsive design, and RESTful APIs

  • Understanding of version control (Git) and development tools

  • Awareness of testing practices (e.g., PHPUnit, Jest) and CI/CD workflows

  • Ability to integrate third-party APIs and services
