We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing team building secure, scalable, and high-performance blockchain and crypto wallet systems. In this role, you will architect modular backend infrastructures, develop robust APIs, and implement features that empower institutions to safely manage digital assets. Collaborating across product, security, finance, and engineering teams, you will influence technical strategy, drive product innovation, and ensure top-tier security standards. Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain crypto wallet systems using TypeScript, Node, REST APIs, and Go.
- Architect modular, scalable backend systems with a strong focus on security and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Security, Business Development, and Finance, to optimize client solutions.
- Establish systems and architectures that support mass adoption while maintaining top-tier security standards.
- Take full ownership of backend features, delivering high-quality, secure, and reliable software.
- Assess technical opportunities and recommend solutions tailored to client and ecosystem needs.
- Build observability, auditability, and monitoring into systems to ensure robust operational practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline management to ensure best practices are followed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience delivering backend or fullstack features using TypeScript/Node.
- Prior senior-level engineering experience in blockchain, DeFi, or crypto organizations.
- Deep understanding of UTXO and account models, consensus mechanisms, and state management.
- Proven experience designing and operating REST APIs, modeling data in Postgres or SQLite, and implementing real-time features with WebSockets or webhooks.
- Infrastructure exposure including Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployments.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and microservices architecture.
- Security-first mindset, collaborating with Security/Compliance, managing secrets, and embedding auditability into products.
- Self-driven, independent, and capable of taking extreme ownership of your work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to empathize with client needs and translate them into actionable features.
- Bonus: experience with Go, multi-party computation (MPC) protocols, or React.
