Overview

Senior Software Engineer role at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). The Rights Management Engineering team designs and builds secure, scalable cloud-based solutions to manage digital rights information for commercial processes that create, maintain and deliver products to customers. What you'll be doing

• Design optimized solutions that meet product requirements and conform to evolving enterprise standards
• Code secure, efficient, and effective solutions
• Design and build solutions using Microsoft Azure and AWS capabilities
• Adopt DevOps principles to code, build and implement solutions
• Provide support for applications in line with agreed product SLAs, including on-call responsibilities
• Ensure solutions conform to LSEG test strategy standards
• Collaborate with Product Owners to understand and refine requirements
• Support squads to provide accurate delivery estimations
• Provide clear and concise communications to the squad and stakeholders
• Inspire and mentor more junior engineers

What you'll bring

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience using
• C# .NET (classic, asp, core), ideally with Entity Framework
• Relational and NoSQL databases
• UI development using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
• CI/CD processes using Gitlab
• Terraform Infrastructure as Code
• Desirable: experience in one or more of
• Python, Java
• Atlassian tooling (JIRA & Confluence)
• DataDog, BigPanda, ServiceNow
• Test Driven Development
• Public cloud experience (ideally Microsoft Azure & AWS)
• Ability to design and explain solutions to complex problems
• Motivation, self-starting, and a can‑do attitude
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• A willingness to learn new technologies
• Cloud certification or willingness to undertake it
• Understanding of the financial information domain is desirable
• Desire to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
