We operate in a flat structure and as a member of the team you are encouraged to take ownership and accountability of your work, collaborating with senior members of the business to identify new opportunities and will be able to see first-hand the positive impact your work has and how it supports revenue growth and operational efficiencies through innovative technology solutions.

What role will you play?

As a senior engineer within the team, you will get to harness your creativity and passion for developing high-quality technology solutions that will support our range of applications within the Commodities and Global Markets trading group. You'll be leading the entire solution delivery life-cycle in an agile environment, working on the development and delivery of in-house solutions, in an evolving DevOps culture that gives you ownership of your solutions and applications.

What you offer

Strong experience building and maintaining new and existing applications using Python and Object-Oriented software analysis and design A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent A good understanding of APIs and REST, and data storage patterns A good understanding of Unix/Linux with some experience in shell scripting A good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
