Overview

Senior Software Engineer position with a Scale-Up Energy SAAS provider. Fully remote in the UK. You will work closely with the CEO to drive the engineering strategy of the company. The platform is highly scalable with low latency and built on Java, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the CEO to shape engineering strategy. Contribute to the development of a highly scalable, low-latency platform. Apply deep knowledge of Java, concurrency and multithreading to deliver robust software. Qualifications

PhD educated background, ideally in Computer Science, Maths or Engineering. Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and core Java concepts. Strong knowledge of Compilers, Compiler Theory, and DSL (Domain Specific Language). Java experience with multithreading, concurrency and low latency. Analytical and theoretical approach.
