Overview

This role is based in Cambridge and requires office work twice a week. The company builds and distributes telecoms products and equipment across global sectors and supports large businesses in the UK and Europe. You will work in a medium-sized team that has recently onboarded many new clients this year and primarily work in a full stack environment, with a backend focus on PHP and C++, and frontend work in JavaScript. Previous experience with C++ is valued.

You will join a team that links software to many of the company’s products. The role involves collaborating across multiple teams in an Agile environment, with a mix of autonomy and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop in a full stack environment, focusing on backend C++/PHP (Laravel) and frontend JavaScript/HTML/CSS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver telecoms software solutions
• Contribute to design, development, and deployment in an Agile setting
• Learn and apply new technologies to progress within the business

TechnicalRequirements

• Backend: C++, PHP, Laravel
• Frontend: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apache
• Bonus Skills: Linux, MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams
• Ability to work with autonomy and manage your day

Salary/Benefits

• Salary: GBP 70,000–GBP 90,000
