Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will develop control systems and related application software for our advanced radiotherapy solutions. Working on an embedded PC running a real-time operating system, you’ll ensure the safe and accurate delivery of radiation beams to patients. You’ll also contribute to enhancements in our Windows-based control systems software when required.**Your responsibilities will be ( but not limited to):**- Development on a Real Time Operating System, to the performance requirements of the system.Working as part of a scrum team to not only deliver your own tasks but assist others where priorities require it, or impediments exist.Defining requirements, applying architectural guidance and providing input into architectural definition.- Develop a breadth of domain knowledge, with significant depth in at least one area.- Effective problem-solving skills.*\*We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement—your unique skills and experiences might be exactly what we're looking for!*- Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.Experience with C/C++.- Unit testing and Experience of CI/CD.- Knowledge and understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques.- Understanding and experience of the overall SDLC for application development.- Understanding and experience of Agile.Control Systems experience.Previous experience of Medical Devices (or other regulated/safety critical areas).In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
