We’re working with a high-integrity defense frim, delivering robust software systems for critical applications across complex industries. They’re currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take on a key role within a small and skilled design team.
This role involves both software development and supporting the PM. You'll play a crucial role in translating system requirements into innovative, production-quality software solutions, contributing across the software development lifecycle from architecture through to system integration and customer acceptance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Designing and developing high-quality C++ software on Linux and Windows platforms
* Defining architectural and detailed designs as part of broader system engineering
* Leading, mentoring, and supervising a team of software engineers
* Managing software compliance with internal and external standards
* Producing clear technical documentation and presenting designs to stakeholders
* Collaborating with hardware and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration
