Seeking a software engineer based within the UK to support our global IT team - THIS POSTION IS REMOTE
The salary range for this full-time position is £81,000 - £100,000 depending on skills and experience.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Senior Software Engineer Developers will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing and supporting the web site, internally developed applications, and third-party systems. This position is ideal for an ambitious, experienced professional who seeks to join a growing company. This position will also provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgment to improve software applications, the ePac service offering, and reporting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong knowledge of object oriented software development
- In-depth experience in web design and development using .NET Core (using C#)
- In-depth experience in XHTML, CSS and in developing with web standards (without the use of WYSIWYG editor)
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript / React / DOM development
- Strong knowledge of Transact –SQL (SQL Server)
- Azure DevOps Build and Release Pipelines
- Experience with AI productivity tools like cursor.ai is a plus
- Experience with SalesForce and Dynamics Business Central is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in developing documentation and procedures to improve ePac’s technology operations and transparency in reporting
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to be effective at all levels of the organization
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of quality
- Good time management skills and able to shift priorities
- Ability to adjust in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player and able to multitask
- Highly organized and detail oriented

- Must have proven record of software delivery
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (INCLUDING CERTIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent required
- Proven experience in software development
- Proven experience in web development
- Proven experience in .NET development
- Experience with Ajax driven websites
- Experience with web user interface design
- Experience with third-party API integration
