All about the role
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our London office & 2 days working from home
Reporting to: Technology Manager
These are some of the key ingredients to the role
- Track the progress that you are making towards the wider goals of your team, and transparently communicate that progress to your team and Technology Manager.
- Keep to the processes, standards and designs that your team has agreed.
- Ensure you and others continuously improve by proposing and then implementing new processes, designs and engineering practices that make your team more effective.
- Contribute to the definition of product features, including in workshops with other product development teams.
- Communicate the technical work of your team to other product development teams
- Take responsibility for supporting your changes all the way through to proving they work well – and continue to work well – in production.
What will you bring to the table?
- Experience in .NET & C#
- Knowledgeable in both SQL and NoSQL database systems
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles and best practices, including data structures, design patterns, microservices, event-driven architectures, object-oriented design, and code optimization.
- Amazon Web Services or similar e.g Azure, Google Cloud (Object storage, Message buses, compute infrastructure & load balancing)
- Well-versed in Git VCS
- Proficient in DevOps practices with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines
