Location: Cambridge - hybrid

This role is for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join an organisation that is a true leader in its field. They are accelerating product development and building the fastest-developing platform in their sector. The team focuses on high-volume releases, creative problem-solving, and staying ahead of the competition in a growing space.

Responsibilities

  • Develop API services using Python and build frontend systems using TypeScript/React.
  • Contribute across the full stack with a focus on delivering value to frontend projects and robust backend services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn concepts into useful solutions.
  • Participate in a forward-thinking engineering culture that emphasizes innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Take initiative, work autonomously, and communicate effectively within the team.

Requirements for Success

  • Experience across the full stack with strong Python engineering capabilities and frontend contribution.
  • Proven track record of developing responsive, user-friendly web applications.
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript/React and component-based architecture.
  • Unit testing experience using Jest and Pytest with good test coverage.
  • Practical experience with ORM, views, signals, and implementing security best practices.
  • Proficient with Docker for containerisation and managing development environments.
