Are you ready to revolutionize how businesses connect with customers? We’re looking for a Senior Solution Engineer to join our dynamic Sales team. With a solid technical foundation, a loyal customer base, and transformative technology, this role focuses on taking our Commerce solution to the next level.

Your mission is to empower prospective customers to fully grasp, compare, and see the value of Coveo’s platform and solutions. As a technical SME, you will showcase Coveo’s value proposition, highlight what sets us apart from competitors, and help win in competitive landscapes through impactful presentations and strategic insights.

Responsibilities

  • Help prospective customers understand, compare, and evaluate the value of Coveo’s Commerce solutions. Ensure offerings meet their needs and drive confident buying decisions.
  • Scope and evaluate prospect opportunities; leverage technical expertise to inform the sales process.
  • Conduct in-depth technical discovery to capture requirements, assess fit, identify gaps or risks, respond to InfoSec requirements, and address technical questions from prospects.
  • Configure and deliver tailored, competitive demos that highlight relevant features and clearly demonstrate value and benefits.
  • Lead the creation and management of Proof of Concepts (POC) and collaborate with teams to deliver solutions aligned with complex customer needs.
  • Lead technical responses in RFIs and RFPs, ensuring proposals position Coveo effectively.
  • Act as a Coveo expert and evangelist by participating in conferences and events (as speaker or booth presence).

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Presales / Sales Engineering / Solution Consulting. Strong demo, POC, and competitive benchmarking practices; represent the voice of the customer with product management.
  • Experience in Professional Services is a plus; adept at scoping projects and identifying key drivers to win a deal.
  • Commerce platform experience (B2B or B2C) with requirements discovery in an ecommerce context (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Magento, Shopify; CMS experience is a plus).
  • AI/ML expertise with search and commerce-related models (e.g., query suggestions, product recommendations, generative answering).
  • Ability to navigate medium to large organizations (roles, departments, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% of the time.
