OverviewThe Power and Sensor Systems – Power ICs product line develops, manufactures and markets digital multiphase controllers, integrated power stages, power modules and Point-of-load (POL) products for the computing, networking, communications, and AI markets. We are looking for a Sr. Staff Product Application Engineer (PAE) to work on the validation and design-in of our products for customer applications.Your RoleSupport Product application of digital multi-phase controllers, integrated power stages and power modules in multiphase synchronous buck converter for computing, networking, communication and AI applicationsDesign and test new product evaluation boardsValidate new products and VR solutions for customer applicationsCreate go-to-market evaluation boards, reference design schematics, application notes and design tools for new productsSupport customer design-in activities including schematic & layout reviews, board bring up, system-level validation and debugging of technical problemsProvide technical training to FAEs, sales, and customersApproximately 10% of travel time to provide on-site customer support.Your ProfileMSEE with 1-3 years working experience in the field of Power ElectronicsGood knowledge in DC/DC power conversion topologies, power MOSFET characteristics, magnetics and control loop designsHands-on experience in designing DC/DC switching power suppliesGood lab skills in using digital oscilloscopes, function generators and network analyzers for the test and debug of switching power suppliesExperience in using schematic entry, circuit simulation, and PCB layout toolsEffectively take multi-tasks, manage priorities and solve technical problems independentlyWell-organized, self-driven, good written and verbal communication skills, and work effectively in a team environment#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
