Location: Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility available!
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Civil and Structural Engineering team . Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Coordinating structural design information with various technical disciplines, including architecture and building services engineering
- Setting and implementing structural design strategies while monitoring sustainability and low carbon targets
- Conducting site visits, surveys, and inspections, representing the structural engineering team at project meetings
- Mentoring junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of professional development
- Assisting in obtaining necessary consents for structural designs through Building Control processes
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a professional qualification (BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng) in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering, and are a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers or Institution of Civil Engineers
- Have a solid understanding of structural steelwork and reinforced concrete design, with experience in applying CDM regulations and UK construction techniques
- Possess a full driving license for site visits
