Senior Civil / Structural Engineer

to work within and build our clients Engineering Team in county Antrim in Ireland. Our client is an award-winning employee owned civil, structural, glass and faade engineering consultancy that has been established in the UK many years. They offer engineering design as well as building surveying and expert witness services, nationwide through our network of six offices. Working across a range of sectors for both private and public sector clients, building long term relationships, to deliver schemes from concept through to detailed design and construction phase. As a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer you will work with Directors, Business Development and Marketing teams to develop business opportunities with new and existing clients. You will meet clients to define scopes of work and develop proposals. You will support the technical development of junior staff. The Role: Youll manage a variety of small to medium projects with minimal supervision

Managing and growing a team, overseeing surveys, design work, technical reports, contract admin, and client liaison. Youll take the lead on delivering work to a high standard, on time and within budget, while mentoring junior team members and helping develop their potential. Who were looking for: Ideally Chartered or able to demonstrate progress towards achieving a professional qualification MRICS, (CEng) with either the ICE and/or the IStructE. Have a broad building structures capability with substantial experience. Ability to Managing and mentoring multiple team members, developing junior engineers, and providing technical oversight. Knowledge and experience of undertaking building surveys and structural assessments would be beneficial, Competent in relevant drawing, modelling and experienced in the application of relevant design software. Strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation and standards. Good commercial awareness and project management skills and experience. Manage continuous professional development and stay updated on legislation. Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong track record across project management, building surveys, and contract administration Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Proficient with JCT contracts and Building Regulations Ideally MRICS (or working towards it) About You: Degree-qualified in Building Surveying Strong track record across project management, building surveys, and contract administration Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Proficient with JCT contracts and Building Regulations Ideally MRICS (or working towards it) Why Join Us?
