The OpportunityWe’re seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the design, coordination, and delivery of temporary and permanent works solutions across a diverse range of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced structural engineer (ideally Chartered) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving technical quality and safety.
  • Lead the structural design and temporary works strategy for major construction projects.
  • Collaborate closely with site teams, project managers, and external consultants to ensure safe, efficient, and buildable solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Review and approve temporary works designs, ensuringpliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices.

  • About You
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) or working towards chartership.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering within a main contractor or consultancy environment.
  • Strong background in structural design and coordination (temporary works desirable but not essential – this can be taught)
  • Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and site constraints.
  • Skilled in structural analysis software and BIM tools.
  • Strongmunication and leadership skills.
