Senior Structural Engineer – W14 London. Salary £50k-£65k.

Would you like to be part of a successful and award-winning structural engineering consultancy based in South West London? The company is growing due to an increasing workload and currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join the creative, innovative and dedicated team.

The practice is well established and expanding, working mainly in the high-end residential sector (new build and refurbishment), often involving basement design and multi-storey schemes. Other projects include commercial schemes such as schools, data centres, public sector schemes, vertical extensions and re-cladding work. Projects typically range from £150,000 up to £10m. The firm also engages in various temporary works design solutions.

The ideal candidate will be technically excellent from a design point of view and commercially aware; MIStructE with Chartered status is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to structural design for high-end residential projects, including new builds and refurbishments, with bespoke elements such as basement design and multi-storey schemes.
• Support commercial schemes, including schools, data centres, and public sector projects, as well as vertical extensions and re-cladding work.
• Engage in various temporary works design solutions as part of project delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Several years of structural design experience in the buildings sector.
• Ideally MIStructE, Chartered status preferred.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK.
