I am working with a well-established, medium sized, multidisciplinary consultancy with offices based across Yorkshire and the Humber.

The team is made up of a number of experienced Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineers and Technicians along with Architects and Project Managers who largely work on the design of power stations, energy, rail, industrial, residential, commercial and mixed-use buildings projects from inception through to completion stage. The team is split across offices in York, Hull and Rotherham and has plans for further future growth.

Due to ongoing success over recent years and a busy and healthy pipeline of work moving right through 2027, our client is seeking a senior structural engineer with around 5 years (or more) UK experience, to join its team in Rotherham. This position will be assisting the building structures team (predominantly residential and mixed-use buildings).

To be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will have gained a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have gained demonstrable experience from within a Consultancy. You will likely have a working knowledge of CAD, TEKLA/TEDDs and perhaps REVIT, and be able to design in contemporary materials. Previous experience working on residential and commercial buildings would be beneficial. You will work well as part of a close-knit design team and feel confident preparing structural design calculations. It will be hugely beneficial if you are local to Rotherham or Sheffield or other nearby towns or cities.
