Our Client is a highly respected established independent firm of Consulting Engineers who are proud of their expertise in providing quality engineering services across a wide range of sectors.

Founded in 1993 they have grown steadily to provide a full range of Consulting Engineering services across sectors including geotechnical, landfill, structural engineering, drainage infrastructure design, highway and traffic assessment analysis, project management and works supervision.

They also have a sister company specialising in geotechnical engineering and as a collective have circa 25 staff.

Their projects are predominantly focused on the Yorkshire region but work is also undertaken from other regions including the North Midlands, South East Coast and North East.


Job Description:

Due to an increase in workload, my Client has a fantastic opportunity available for a Senior Structural Engineer to assist in further developing the company brand.

You will be Chartered (MIStructE) with a minimum of 5 years design experience in the UK, working on projects such as; Health, Education, Leisure, Residential and Retail.


Person Specification:

Our Client are looking for someone who is dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic to be part of a like-minded team of professional engineering and support staff.

The role will involve assessing potential projects and preparing fees, therefore an astute financial management ability is key.

You will be proficient in designs of all structural materials, as well as knowledge of Eurocodes and Finite Element Analysis (essential).

For the right candidate, this post offers the opportunity to a higher management role with the possibility of progressing to Director.

Salary: £40,000 - £47,500 depending on experience, free on-site parking, health scheme, other company benefits.
