About the job National Highways has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Senior Structures Engineer
to join our Yorkshire and Northeast team on a permanent basis. This senior role will play a pivotal part in providing advanced technical leadership and strategic oversight in the asset management, maintenance, and enhancement of highway structures, including bridges and other critical infrastructure. As a Senior Structures Engineer, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in the development and implementation of asset management strategies for substandard and critical structures, driving innovation and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. You will act as a key advisor on complex structural engineering challenges, collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver sustainable, cost-effective solutions. This role can be based from our Wakefield, Leeds or Darlington office. Please note that this role requires regular driving; applicants must have no more than 3 penalty points on their driving licence both at the time of application and during employment.
