Role: Senior Test Automation & Performance Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Automation & Performance Engineer to join their growing QA Engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, scalability, and resilience of APIs, middleware, and cloud-native services across critical platforms. You'll drive both functional and performance test strategies, build automated frameworks, and shape best practices that enhance testing maturity and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain backend automated test suites in Python.
• Build and execute tests for REST APIs, gRPC, and WebSocket services
• Develop performance test strategies focused on volume, throughput, and capacity
• Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines in Docker/Kubernetes environments
• Define QA standards, recommend tools, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive quality

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in backend test automation and API testing
• Hands-on knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS
• Strong skills in performance testing using tools like JMeter, k6, or Gatling
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD workflows
• Bonus: Experience with Playwright, observability tools, or trading system domains
