Job Description What will you be doing? We're looking for a Senior Test Engineer to take technical ownership of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing for chassis and control systems within our advanced automotive simulation facility. You'll play a key role in supporting end-to-end vehicle development programmes, ensuring high standards of system verification, data integrity, and engineering excellence. Your main responsibilities will be:
Define and implement test strategies and procedures aligned with system validation goals. Operate and maintain HiL rigs used for chassis systems such as ABS, steering, and suspension. Analyse and interpret test outputs to identify system performance, faults, and improvement opportunities Execute test campaigns in real-time environments and adapt methods based on evolving project needs. Produce detailed engineering reports and communicate findings clearly to project teams and stakeholders. Work closely with design engineers, system owners, and cross-functional project teams. Participate in design reviews and provide expert input on testability and system validation.

Qualifications Experience, skills and qualifications required:
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related Engineering discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive testing, with at least 4 years in HiL-based environments. Strong background in chassis systems testing (e.g., steering, suspension, or powertrain systems).
Skilled in real-time HiL simulation tools such as dSPACE and Vector VT System. Competent with MATLAB/Simulink and CANalyzer/CANoe for data analysis and communication testing. Solid understanding of control systems, vehicle dynamics, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN).
