Senior Test Engineers – Must hold active SC clearance

About the Role:

Amber Labs is seeking experienced and driven Senior Test Engineers to join a high-impact programme supporting large-scale digital transformation across public sector infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge migration and testing initiatives that directly improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Designing and executing UAT and functional tests across laptops and desktops
• Supporting and validating Windows 11 migration efforts
• Conducting Citrix migration testing and performance validation
• Performing M365 testing across collaboration and productivity tools
• Leading migration testing across infrastructure and identity platforms
• Creating test plans, scenarios, and reports aligned with business operations
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure test coverage
• Applying modern testing techniques and automation where appropriate

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Windows environments, especially Windows 11
• Hands-on experience with UAT, device testing, and migration validation
• Familiarity with Citrix environments and M365 ecosystems
• Ability to design test strategies and communicate findings clearly
• A proactive approach to documentation and continuous improvement

This role at Amber Labs is a 12 Month salary based FTC position, and all employees are required to hold active SC clearance. Please be advised that, at this time, we are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold a visa of any type.

Our Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch to advise you on the next steps. We have a two-stage interview process for most of our consultants. In certain cases, we may include a third and final stage, which is a conversation with the company Partners. This will only be considered if deemed necessary.
