Responsibilities

• Design and delivery of traffic management and local safety schemes.
• Prepare reports and communicate with stakeholders; manage public consultations.
• Design traffic signs and road markings to the latest TSRGD and Traffic Signs Manual standards using specialist software.

Experience and Qualifications

• Essential: Experience in the design and delivery of traffic management and local safety schemes, ideally using AutoCAD or similar.
• Good understanding of UK design guidelines such as DMRB, TSRGD, LTN and MfS guidance.
• Skilled in TRO applications and procedures.
• Experience in managing public consultations and stakeholders.
• Confident in the preparation of reports.
• Full UK driving licence as site visits will be required.
• Ability to design traffic signs and road markings to latest TSRGD and Traffic Signs Manual standards using specialist software.

• Desirable: Membership of relevant professional institution.
